İzmit Gebze Junction – İzmit East Junction TEM Motorway Project

Project Name: TEM Motorway and Connection Roads Superstructure Improvement and Major Repair Construction between İzmit Gebze Junction – İzmit East Junction.

Scope:

Superstructure improvement and major repair works on the existing TEM Motorway and connection roads.
Renewal of road pavements with HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt).
Renewal of curbs, sidewalks, road markings, and traffic safety elements.
Inspection and, if necessary, revision of road geometry and drainage systems.

Construction Content:

Excavation of the road surface, filling, and sub-base preparation works.
Removal of damaged and deformed asphalt pavements and resurfacing with HMA.
Asphalt, curb, and marking works at junctions and connection roads.
Phased lane and junction works carried out without disrupting traffic flow.

Objective:

To ensure the TEM Motorway and its connection roads are safe, comfortable, and durable.
To extend the service life of the road and reduce maintenance costs.
To improve traffic safety and enhance driver comfort.
