Construction of Turkistan International Airport

Turkistan International Airport, which will connect Turkistan to the world, has been opened.

Completed in a record time of 11 months, the airport is not only newly built from scratch but also stands as the first Greenfield airport constructed in Kazakhstan and the region since the Soviet era.

Annual Capacity of 3 Million Passengers

Built under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with 100% private sector investment, the airport will open the region to global tourism. The Turkistan International Airport project covers an area of 905 hectares and includes a 3,300-meter runway, 2 taxiways, and 1 service area. The airport has an annual passenger capacity of 3 million.
